STEP #3
Enter that new pupil here and now your brute is on the list for someone else to make you a pupil.

Do not play with the new pupil right away.
The pupil needs to still be Level 1 in order for it to qualify here.
After you get credit, then you can play with it all you want.
And please do, as pupil level-ups help everyone too!
